AcropolisATHENS The capital of Greek took its name from the goddess Athena, the goddess of wisdom and knowledge. This is where democracy was born. This is where that marvel of architecture, the Parthenon, was created. This is where art became inseparable from life, and this is where Pericles gave funerary speech, that monument of the spoken word. Athens is the symbol of freedom, art, and democracy in the conscience of the civilized world. In Athens memory never fades. Wherever you stand, wherever you turn, the city's long and rich history will be alive in front of you. In the center of town are two hills, the Acropolis with the monuments from the age of Pericles, and Lycabettus with the picturesque chapel of Ai Giorgis. Athens today is a modern city, alive and on the go. Modern, but romantic as well, with busy streets and squares, shop windows a riot of colours, as well as little alleys in quiet peaceful neighbourhoods such as Plaka & Mets.

Optional excursions in Athens: Athens City Tour, Athens by Night, Cape Sounion Tour, Ancient Corinth Tour, Tour to Delphi, Argolis Tour, Cruise to Aegina-Poros-Hydra.

Port of RhodosRHODOS largest of the Dodecanese, Rhodes has become an important regional centre, thanks to its location, climate and natural attractions. It is known as the side of the Sun. Pindar mentions in one of his Odes that it was born of the union of ''Helios'' the Sun God and the nymph Rhoda. It was first inhabited in the Neolithic era. Its economy and culture flourished until the 3rd century B.C., when it was the predominant power in the Aegean. When, a thousand years later, it fell into the hands of the knights of St. John, it became again the centre of power, symbolized by its magnificent medieval town and the imposing castle and palace of the Grand Masters. The island abounds in lovely and interesting places to visit, such as the Valley of the Butterflies, the village of Trianda, Kamiros and the ruins of The Dorian city, Calithea, Koskinou, Afandou, Faliraki, Rodini, Lindos and The temple of Athena Lindia. Finally, there are splendid beaches all over the island, some of which are equipped with facilities for bathers and equipment for water sports.

Optional excursions in Rhodes
Island Tour, Rhodes City Tour, Lindos Excursion, Filerimos-Kamiros-Valley of the Butterflies, Cruise to the Island of Simi, Cruise to the Island of Kos, Cruise to Marmaris, Village Party - Pastida

PergamosPERGAMOS was one of the "seven churches of Asia" mentioned in Revelation. At one time the city of Pergamos housed one of the greatest libraries in the world, consisting of more than 200,000 volumes. After the great library at Alexandria, Egypt was destroyed by fire, Marc Antony plundered the library of Pergamos and sent the books to Cleopatra to replace the lost volumes. Pergamos was also home of one of the world's greatest artistic treasures, the Altar of Zeus. Many scholars believe this altar was what Jesus referred to when He said that Pergamos was the home of "Satan's throne". This altar can now be seen at Pergamun Museum in Berlin, Germany. The largest building in Pergamos is the theater on the acropolis of the city. The theater was built into the hill and could seat 20,000 people. It is said that the acoustics of the theater were so good that no one would have any difficulty in either hearing or seeing anything that happened on stage. Above the theater is the Temple to Trajan and Hadrian. Southwest of the city was the medical center, the Asclepion, with its temple to the god of medicine, Asclepius. The famous physician, Galen, was born in Pergamos
